Cialai is open source software distributed under the Apache 2.0 license. The full license ships with the repository and each release. It allows using, copying, modifying and redistributing the software, including for commercial purposes, subject to the attribution and notice conditions described in the license itself.
No warranty
As provided by the Apache 2.0 license, the software is delivered as is, without warranties of any kind, express or implied. You are responsible for assessing whether it meets your needs and for maintaining your computer, your network and your devices.
Responsibility for operation
- The phone can only reach the computer while it is on, connected and running Cialai. Keeping the computer that way is your responsibility.
- Terminals run commands on your computer with your user's permissions. Commands sent from the phone have the same effect as commands typed on the computer.
- Keep your device tokens safe. If a phone is lost, revoke the device on the Devices screen of the desktop application.
- The Tor network and the public STUN servers from Cloudflare and Google are third-party public networks, outside Ordinum's control and with no availability guarantee. Networks that block both Tor and UDP are left with no path, and the Tor fallback is slower than the direct connection.
Trademarks
The Cialai name, the orchid mantis mark and the visual signature are Ordinum trademarks and are not covered by the Apache 2.0 license. Modified distributions must use their own name and identity. Apple, App Store, Google Play, Android, Windows, Linux and other marks mentioned belong to their respective owners.
Contributions
Contributions to the repository follow the contribution guide and the code of conduct published in the project. By submitting a contribution, you agree to license it under Apache 2.0.
